About Me
Hello! Warm welcome. Bem-vind*e, herzlich Willkommen!
Personal growth and fostering connection are my big lifelong passions. I do believe that we humans are bound to grow, love, and contribute if we are received with kindness, trust and support. I support clients to find these sweet spots where growth happens with ease and kindness, where meaningfulness forms, and where the struggle lessens and we start to play and dance with life. The practice of Nonviolent Communication has been a guiding light in self discovery and supporting others (through Empathy sessions, mediation and teaching Nonviolent Communication).
I am trained as a trauma-sensitive counselor and in group therapy (NeuroSystemics), and hold degrees in Social Work, Sociology, and Law. As a counselor at a domestic violence survivor shelter, I’ve walked with clients in their most difficult hours and seen many examples of post-traumatic growth and resiliency – people who have found new clarity, hope, and courage after walking through a storm.
As a sociologist and activist, it matters to me to recognize and account for societal structures that influence our individual experiences and encourage agency within them.
I am Swiss, and after a couple years of living in Brazil, I returned to my homelands. I offer sessions online in English, German, Swiss German and Brazilian Portuguese.
My pronouns are she/her.
My approach
NeuroSystemics and Nonviolent Communication
NeuroSystemics is an evidence-based therapeutic approach, working both with 1:1 sessions and group sessions (Resiliency Circles). As a nervous system-informed approach it emphasizes the healing and organizing power of our bodies. Because the truth is: Our bodies try to balance themselves out all the time, and our psyche is no exception with that. But sometimes we need a little extra support to shift towards the healing movements and allow them to unfold.
We heal not by taking apart cognitively all difficulties that have happened in the past, but in the “here and now” – through attuned relationships, support and kindness, and through a broader consciousness (mindfulness) that allows to kindly change patterns that are causing difficulties. Generally, there’s much less “doing” than is often believed to be needed in order to feel better.
NeuroSystemics is a gentle approach. I won’t ask you to revisit the most difficult times of your life in order to get better. My role as a facilitator is to walk and be with you, support you to find connection and more clarity with your present experience, and help you access your resources that will show you, step by step, your path of healing and growth. It is about you strengthening your agency within your current situation, and about finding the resources that are needed for that.
My take on NeuroSystemics weaves in a strong personal influence of Nonviolent Communication (NVC, M. Rosenberg), as I find tremendous power in listening deeply to emotions and needs. I am currently pursuing further professional training within this approach and have been assisting in the teaching of introductionary and intermediate NVC courses since 2023 by Danny Cohen.

Resiliency Circles
Resiliency Circles (RCs) offer a unique environment to take benefits from individual therapeutic, mindfulness, or meditation practices into relationships and community. You will embark on a journey with others toward greater ease in your relationships, increased capacity to handle challenges, and most of all, a new sense of enjoyment in being with others. You will learn to identify your relational patterns, heal traumas which have occured in relationships (e.g. loss, seperation, mistreatment) and build new attachment skills to enjoy being yourself with others. The facilitators hold a compassionate and sensitive attitude to include all the parts of everyone present – orienting towards unconditional acceptance and appreciation, while also encouraging differentiation. As the process unfolds, the RC’s open the door to a palpable sense of peace, intimacy and connection with one another.
In Resiliency Circles you can expect to:
- Bring mindfulness and therapy benefits into relationships
- Work toward embodiment and authenticity in daily life
- Develop new ways of feeling empathic, non-judgmental and compassionate
- Be seen, heard and welcomed in a genuine atmosphere of acceptance
- Learn how to be in groups with greater levels of ease, comfort and confidence
- Form meaningful relationship
